One of the core beliefs that Julie lives by is that “The best is yet to come.” It’s a refreshing perspective rooted in appreciation for the present, while still being open to constantly growing and expanding in different areas of life.
Julie touches on the importance of balanced pressure, getting comfortable being uncomfortable, and giving yourself the time to pause and reset.
My favorite line from this chat was Julie’s insight on what happens when we get lost in the rigamarole of daily life:
“You’re running ahead of your soul. You’re going, but you’ve got to pause to make sure your soul can keep up with you.”
It was a brilliant reminder that while it’s good to be in a growth mindset, it’s vital to not lose yourself in the busy-ness of it all, and instead rest and reorient yourself toward what truly fulfills you.
